Office of Student Success -- Aquinas Hall, Suite 105
Once logged in, search through the "Limit to:" drop-down list at the top of the page to find your course. Next, view tutoring schedules and book an appointment. If you do not find your course listed, please contact Kimberly King, the tutor coordinator at kimberly.king@msmc.edu. (The precise courses for which we offer subject tutoring changes each semester depending on tutor availability).
We offer face to face and online(via zoom) tutoring sessions.
Things to note:
- Be mindful of whether you are selecting a face-to-face or online appointment.
- If you choose to have your sessions online please be prepared to use a device that can connect to the internet with video and audio capabilities..
- To maximize the benefit of tutoring, it is recommended that you sign up for a weekly appointment. To do this, you must click on the Repeating Options within the appointment box and click the option for Week(s) on. If an appointment has already been made and you would like to change it to be repeating, please notify your tutor and they will update the appointment in the system or will contact Tutoring Services to make the change. However, please note: There is no guarantee that you will be able to schedule a repeating appointment at the same time of day - this will be based on the tutor's schedule availability.
- Students must show consideration of others by being on time and faithful in their attendance of tutoring sessions. If students are unable to keep a scheduled tutoring appointment, they must notify the tutor 24 hours in advance or contact the Tutoring Services staff in the Office of Student Success.
- You can not schedule a tutoring appointment less than two days before your desired meeting time.
- Once an appointment is made you will receive an email confirmation which will include important information about your tutoring session.
While the college cannot guarantee that everyone who requests tutorial support will receive it, the Office of Student Success has been successful in fulfilling close to 98% of tutor requests over the past five years! If you are dissatisfied with the tutoring arrangements for any reason, please e-mail tutoring@msmc.edu so that appropriate changes can be made.
